Leo's home in Shelby, Ohio found!
Leo lived in Shelby from 1916 to 1920. It was from Shelby that Leo found the models for several of his fictional characters, including Howard (Scoop) Ellery, Donald (Red) Myers and Neuville (Peg) Shaw.

While in Shelby, Leo worked as advertising manager for the Autocall Company.

The Sheby Daily Globe was where Leo's "The Cruise of the Sally Ann" ran in April 1920 as a serial story. Read Leo's announcement from the March 27, 1920 Daily Globe.
